HARRISON FORD MUSTANG
Harrison Ford Mustang is a four-piece indie rock band From Greensboro, NC. Using
elements of dream pop, punk rock and the influences of your favorite 90’s indie and alternative heroes, they create modern a take on your favorite sounds of the past. Guitarist Josh Peek is majorly influenced by the indie rock music of the nineties with a monstrously fuzzy and gritty sound reminiscent of Steve Malkmus. Bassist Melvin Holland has a background as a jazz saxophonist whose bass influence stems from the likes of everyone from James Jamerson and John Paul Jones to Flea and Joe Lally. Drummer Zac Lassiter has played in jazz groups, metal bands and everything in between and it shows in his unique style which blends all of his influences together. Rounding out the group is guitarist Michael Joncas whose been rocking around the indie/punk scene since catching DC's Kingface open for the Replacements and is highly influenced by the music of The Cure and the excitement of Fugazi.
